Yes! We offer private lessons in the comfort of your own home. In private sessions, your dog will receive specialized training tailored to fit their exact needs and to reach your goals for them. We can train your dog and teach you how to maintain progress and implement structure into your daily routine.

Our rate ranges from $110/hour to $200/hour. This is based off of your location, how many dogs are in your household, and what kind of training your dog needs.

We travel to most towns in the Eastern Monmouth County area, within 15 minutes of Asbury Park. Depending where you reside, there may be a travel fee added on to your training service charge for fuel and travel time.

We offer you guidance every step of the way! We maintain contact with our clients via phone or email anytime they need us, even after their dog graduates a training program.

I am not able to train dogs for any kind of protection work or police work, and I am not willing to take on dogs with severe aggression or severe anxiety unless you are already working with your vet or a behaviorist. We may refer you out to a veterinary behaviorist after a consultation if it is assessed that your dogs behavior is too severe.

Puppies can begin training the day they come home, ideally around 8 weeks. While we believe it is important to keep your dog safe from infectious diseases, it is also imperative that you socialize your puppy to many places, people and animals.

We are there for you and will return if new problems arise or old ones resurface. We offer a lifetime of online support to all of our clients.

In the event that you need to cancel or reschedule a private lesson, we ask that you please notify us as far in advance as possible, by email, text or phone call. This gives us the opportunity to schedule another client at that time slot. If less than 48 hours notice has been given, we will keep the deposit you made to book your appointment. Please carefully consider your schedule, commitment to training and your dog before signing up for one of our training programs.

Good Boy Training holds a no refund policy as a standard operating policy for all clients. All sales are final. The owner of the dog(s) may have the pet withdrawn from training at any time, however, once training has begun; all fees are non-refundable.
